Boulder, Colorado – The Unity Party of America (www.unityparty.us) nominated Roger Nichols of Missouri for US President, Christopher Lauer of Connecticut for Vice President and Bill Hammons of Colorado for US Senate at Saturday's state and national convention in Boulder, Colorado. The national party also expanded its platform from six to 18 positions on issues ranging from an expanded Balanced Budget Amendment proposal to the space program and the formation of new American states.
"I'm encouraged by the expansion of our party's voice on issues important to all Americans, and I'd like to personally thank my fellow Colorado members for their nod to once again petition onto the November ballot as the party's standard bearer," says US Senate nominee and Unity Party Colorado and National Chairman Bill Hammons. "I'd also like to congratulate Roger and Chris on their nominations, and the national party will be doing all it can in the following months to place them on the ballot in as many states as possible, especially here in Colorado."
