BILL HAMMONS FOR UNITED STATES SENATE AND COLORADO
Hammons for Senate will not File Q3 Campaign Finance Report
Boulder, Colorado Ė Hammons for Senate (www.billisrunning.com) will not be filing one of the Campaign Finance reports due on October 15th for the quarter ending on September 30th, even though monies totaling an amount greater than the FECís candidate registration threshold appear on the candidateís GoFundMe fundraising page.
ďIím pleased that the Facebook likes of my campaign website now total in the hundreds and hundreds and that the contributions to my 2016 campaign total in the thousands and thousands, and Iím even more pleased that I just missed the FEC registration threshold for the past quarter, due to the fact that many of the funds on my GoFundMe page are from the 2014 election cycle.
ďIím even more pleased because FEC filings are quite a tedious task, and in fact going forward Iíll be encouraging my supporters to instead donate to the Unity Partyís United National Committee, though the UNC appears that it might have reached its own threshold and we'll be exploring filings. Ē
